					Work Experience :
Started as an underwriting clerk in 1982 in United Malayan
Insurance. Became a Risk Surveyor the following year. In
					1988, I was a marketing executive in Arab-Malaysian Eagle

well as Direct Clients. In 1989, I was recruited as the Head
of the Fire Department for Jerneh Insurance Corporation.

The next posting was the head of a local insurance broker
for which I managed for more than 12 months, then I was
taken in as Underwriting Manager for Zurich Insurance for
which I served until 1992. I resigned and rejoined
Arab-Malaysian Eagle Assurance Berhad in 1993 as the Senior
Underwriting Manager. After which I resigned and became a
lecturer in the Malaysian Insurance Institute.

In the Malaysian Insurance Institute, I started off as the
Associate Lecturer and then became the Examinations Manager.

Claims ConsultancyThis is the most important service which we provide to
the public. In the minds of the Insured, the insurance
policies are full of traps and fine prints that appears to
sabotage the claimant. As insurance is a very technical
field, there are many ways, methods and strategies that the
Insurers can use to deny or to reduce the claims. We have
very good experience in handling very complicated claims
where all documents were destroyed by fire and expertise in
extraordinary claims whereby the Insurer has classified as
					“Suspicious Claims”.

These are the areas that an ordinary Insured will be bogged
down with technicalities and there are many obstacles, both
legal as well as technical that the loss adjusters can
utilise to deny or to reduce the amount payable. We have
both theoretical, legal and practical experts in all these
sectors to assist the Insured to handle the loss adjusters
or the Insurers. This is where we can assist the Insured to
straighten things out and pave the way for the maximum
amount payable. We will put in every effort to ensure that
the Insured’s rights are met. Our experience have ensure
that our customers have secured a minimum of over 90% which,
if they have handled on their own, will only result in
between 0% to 60% at best. We are the ones that can make a
difference, we are in effect the claims equaliser.

					Insurance Academic

Institute then became Fellow of the same. The next was the
Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and the
Malaysian Insurance Institute. Thereafter the Associate in

Insurance Institute of America. These together with my work
experience gives me a full complement of insurance knowledge
in both the practical as well as the theoretical fields.
